This piezoelectric pressure sensor attaches to small diameter tubes as on stethoscopes. Acting as a type of microphone for acoustic sounds or pressure pulses, its electrical output signal can be fed into headphones, or to a storage medium (such as an oscilloscope or PC) for detailed study.
Model 7012 Pulse Pressure Sensor is powered from a simple constant current power source available from Apollo Research. Power and signal are supplied over the integral coaxial cable.
